Welcome to

Woodland Counselling

Hi there, I'm Liz and I'd like to welcome you to my practice, Woodland Counselling. Please feel invited to use the information on my website to help answer any questions you might have about working with me, such as the Fees and Services that I provide, how to Contact me, and a little bit About Me as a counsellor and psychotherapist.

I have trained as an integrative counsellor, and believe that therapy can help us evolve from surviving to thriving. I became a counsellor for many reasons, but fundamentally because of the powerful way in which counselling can help you take back control of your life story; tomorrow does not have to be like yesterday.

Sometimes without any reason, situations or people take away our trust, autonomy and belief in the world. It can feel impossible to take another chance and say our story out loud, so I can offer you a calm space to explore what feels safe to you until you are ready. I will work without making assumptions about the individual struggles you are dealing with, letting you tell me how it is for you.

In therapy, it is possible to find a way through your experiences, unlearn beliefs that no longer serve you and re-gain that sense of you; a you that is more than what you've been through.
